PURPOSE:To obtain higher rigidity so as to improve traction power as well as to better the riding comfort by forming the layer of cord, integrated into the tire proper of a pneumatic tire including rugs, with layers of a carcass cord and belt cord with respectively specified cord angles. CONSTITUTION:A pneumatic tire for a rice planter has a tire proper 29 consisting of a bead section 33 with a pair of beads 12 integrated in its right and left sides, a sidewall section 34 and a tread section 35. Also blade rugs 30 are integratedly form on the external periphery of the tread section 35 in its peripheral direction at an interval, while a number of rugs 31 are placed between the blade rugs 30. Whereas a radial cord with an angle of 90 deg.+ or -20 deg. against the periopheral direction of the tire is to be used as the carcass cord 13 integrated into the tire proper 29 and the belt cord 13B placed on its external periphery is to be given a cord angle of 0 deg.-30 deg. against the peripheral direction of the tire. The whole internal periphery of the tire proper 29 is formed into a toroidal surface by a metallic core jig. |
