Provided is an inexpensive and highly accurate detachable connector configured so that, when connecting optical fibers with lenses to each other such that end surfaces are not in contact with each other, the end surfaces will be tilted to prevent back ward reflection. A connector 1 for optical fibers with lenses is provided with: ferrules 2 in which optical fibers 10 with lenses are mounted and which have end surfaces 21 tilted relative to a center axis L; and a joint member (sleeve 3) for coaxially joining together the ferrules 2, which are provided as a pair, the ferrules 2 being joined together so that the end surfaces 21 thereof will face each other without contact and will be parallel to each other. The ferrules 2 are each provided with one or more holes 20 arranged parallel to the center axis L at positions offset from the center axis L, and the optical fibers 10 with lenses are arranged in the holes 20. The optical fibers 10 with lenses, which are mounted in the pair of the ferrules 2, have lens end surfaces tilted along the end surfaces of the ferrules 3 so as to be optically joined together. |
