PURPOSE:To increase life performance of a cell by embedding fine pipes which supply electrolyte in a porous part of electrode with ribs, and supplementing on occasion an appropriate amount of electrolyte to a matrix layer through the porous part of electrode from pin holes installed in the fine pipes. CONSTITUTION:Fine pipes 9 of, for example, Teflon which supplies electrolyte to a porous part of a fuel electrode 8 which is arranged in the upper part of unit cell of hybrid cell, and electrolyte is supplemented on occasion through pin holes installed in the fine pipes. By fabricating a cell with such electrodes, since electrolyte is not held in the porous part in the upper part of the Teflon fine pipes 9 embedded, diffusion of fuel gas is improved and concentration polarization is reduced and performance is increased. Since electrolyte is supplied on occasion, cell life is substantially increased independent of electrolyte held in ribs. |
