PURPOSE:To enable the automation of work by removing a connection means by a cable, by connecting a test apparatus and an object to be tested by a connector. CONSTITUTION:Positional determination pins 6 are provided to the base plate 5a on a base adapter 5 and a print circuit board 7 is placed on the pins 6. Connector adapters 9, 9a are arranged on the plate 5a so as to be opposed to connectors 8, 8a of the board 7. The adapters 9, 9a have connectors 10, 11, 10a, 11a connectable to both of a test apparatus 12 and the board 7 and adapters 9, 9a themselves are made slidable to the B-direction to the adapter 5. The board 7 and the adapter 5 are moved above test terminals 13, 13a of the apparatus 12 and, succeedingly, the adapters 9, 9a are slid to directions B, B' and the connectors 10, 10a are inlaid with the connectors 8, 8a. Then, the adapter 5, held to such a state that the board 7 and the adapters 9, 9a are connected, is moved to a C-direction and the connectors 11, 11a of the adapters 9, 9a are respectively inserted into terminals 13, 13a. Because there is no cable connection in this process, connection is automatically performed by a robot or a handler.
