PURPOSE:To obtain the yellow toner which has good spectral reflection characteristics and has the characteristics excellent in environmental resistance characteristics and durability as well by incorporating a specific compd. into the toner. CONSTITUTION:The compd. expressed by the formula I is incorporated into a binder resin. In the formula I, X<1> to X<3> respectively denote a hydrogen atom, halogen atom, carboxy group, 1 to 5C alkyl group or methoxycarbonyl group which may be substd. with a halogen atom and the case in which all of X<1> to X<3> are hydrogen atoms is precluded. The characteristics required as the color toner, such as the good spectral reflection characteristics and also the excellent environmental resistance characteristics and durability, are sufficiently satisfied with good balance in this way. |
