PURPOSE:To obtain a copying machine equipped with a picture forming unit which is excellent in operability, not feared to scratch a photosensitive drum, and is free from contamination by developing agents, by installing a freely tiltable to part of the picture forming unit. CONSTITUTION:When a unit A is pushed along a guide by pushing a grip 24 after the unit A is inserted into the entrance of the unit fitting section of the main body of this copying machine by holding a handle 26, the handle 26 touches the barrier 29 at the main body side and, when the unit A is pushed further, the handle 26 is swung and tilted and, finally folded. Since the unit A is inserted into the copying machine with the handle 26 being folded, it is not necessary to provide any excessive space to the handle 26 inside the copying machine and, furthermore, the handle 26 does not interfer with other members. When the unit A is pulled forward by means of the grip 24 and the handle 26 passes the barrier 29, the handle 26 is released from the folded condition and set to the standing position by the returning force of a spring. Therefore, when the unit A is further pulled forward by means of the grip 24 while holding the standing handle 26 with hand, the unit A is safely and easily removed from the copying machine main body. |
