PURPOSE:To discharge copied papers failed to be bound without using any human's hand, by automatically discharging the failed papers form a tray by operating a start button. CONSTITUTION:When a failure in a binding operation of copied papers by a stapler 33 is detected and a driving system is stopped, a start button provided in a console 42 is operated and control for operating a clutch mechanism 32 for several seconds is made so as to contact a drive-away roller 30 with failed copied papers and discharge the failed papers to a discharge tray 40. Therefore, the papers failed to be bound can be discharged from the multistage tray 40 without using any human's hand. |
