Compact single-unit purification station consisting of a single vessel 1 containing a means for aerating and stirring the liquid mass and a settler of very small size, consisting of a bottomless casing and a series of plates 6 inclined at 60 DEG to the horizontal plane; the absence of a conical bottom of the settler adds to the saving in space occupied by the settler and is made possible by the aeration device which allows the sludge to be expelled in step with its deposition at the bottom of the vessel. It has its application in factories and in Public Works departments. <IMAGE>
