PURPOSE:To simplify the external form of a valve, by constituting a stopper mechanism with an insert holding a stem and a ball seat. CONSTITUTION:An insert 15 is screwed in from an opening part 22 of a body 11, while an end face of an annular part 24 of the insert 15 is made contact with an engaged surface 27 formed in a flange part 19 of a stem 16. When the stem 16 is turned round clockwise, a notched surface 25 of the stem 16 rotates while coming into contact with an end face of the annular part 24, and an engaged surface 26 connectedly formed on the notched surface 25 is engaged with the end face of the annular part 24 whereby the stem 16 is checked in its rotation certainly in a state of being rotated at 90 deg. and thereby a valve flow passage is held in a closed state. |
