<p>PURPOSE:To automatically remove surely and quickly chips, dust, debris, or cutting oil attached to a machined work by dipping the work in a cleaning fluid while rotating it when cleaning the work after it is machined by an automated machine tool in the flexible production system. CONSTITUTION:This cleaning device consists of a case-type cleaning chamber forming a sealed cleaning space 1, a holding mechanism 5 to hold a pallet 4 rotably which clamps a machined work 3 to which chips, cutting oil, etc. have stuck during cutting operation, and an immersion cleaning mechanism 7 which washes away chips, cutting oil, etc. from a work (3, 4) held by the holding mechanism 5 by dipping it in a cleaning fluid 6. Furthermore, it is equipped with a transfer mechanism consisting of, for example, a roller conveyer to carry the pallet 4 in and out of the cleaning chamber 2, and a control mechanism such as a microcomputer to control the cleaning operation from first to last.</p> |
