PURPOSE:To discriminate the logic of a reproduced digital signal by measuring bit pulse intervals of the reproduced digital signal to obtain time information required for logic discrimination. CONSTITUTION:The digital signal recorded on a magnetic tape 1 is read by a reproducing head 2 and has the waveform shaped by a signal processing part 3 and is given as a bit pulse signal to a microcomputer 40. The computer 40 displays the read digital signal (time information for indicating the reproducing position of the tape 1) on a segment display device 9 and controls driving of a mechanism 12 through a mechanism control circuit 10. A switch 11 is connected to the circuit 10, and the circuit 10 executes this control of the mechanism 12 in response to the operation of the switch 11. |
