PURPOSE:To prevent dispersion of dirt around the range hood by providing a detachable hood and a detachable and openable oil dirt dispersion preventing panel. CONSTITUTION:The main frame 8 of the hood is provided with the oil dirt preventing panel 12, openable and detachable within the range shown by the arrow sign in the diagram through a hinge 13, and the hood 14, having a configuration covering the upper surface of the main frame 8. Upon cooking, dispersed particles toward rear wall surface 18 are precluded by the oil dirt dispersion preventing panel 12 and the wall surface 18 will never be spoiled. On the other hand, the panel 12 can be closed so as to cover an oil dust removing filter 9 from getting dirt when the panel is not to be used. The hood, which has become dirty due to dispersion or adhesion of oil dirt during the use of long period of time, can be removed by releasing butterfly bolts 15 and connecters 19 while the oil dirt dispersion preventing panel 12 can be removed by removing it from detachable hinges 13, therefore, they may be cleaned easily and the main frame 8 may be left alone to clean it.
