The sprayer is carried on the back of the operator and has an I.C. engine 11, 12, 14 which drives a radial-flow blower 18a having an air inlet 18d. and outlet 18e for generating atomizing air, a spray liquid container 22, and a centrifugal pump 33 feeding a spray nozzle and located coaxially within the blower casing. The pump is inserted in an aperture in the casing and its shaft is coupled to the engine shaft which carries the blower blades 31. A fuel tank 15 is secured by straps 17, and the container 22 is attached to a support 24 by straps 23. Spray liquid is drawn through a line 47 and fed to a spray nozzle, not shown, through a line 48; a return line 49 provides a whirling of the container liquid. A support 27, 28 and brackets 19, 20 for the reception of carrying straps are provided. |
