PURPOSE:To set a cassette automatically in a performance state at the time when it is inserted in a horizontal direction by providing a means of perpendicularly moving the cassette to the cassette driving system on the main base. CONSTITUTION:The timing stopper 11 corresponding to a cassette perpendicularly moving means is hit with a cassette locking means represented by a stopper 12 by making use of part of the force trying to reurn a cassette 2 when it is inserted for a fixed distance in a horizontal direction and the insertion is ceased, by which the cassette holder 4 is unlocked and is turned so that the cassette 2 may be set. In ejecting, the stopper 30 is rotated to be disengaged from an eject plate 28, by which the disc 28 is rotated in the back direction of this player owing to the action of an eject spring 29. |
