PURPOSE:To enable to increase the amount of heat transfer with a simple device by a structure wherein a liquid reservoir, which is filled with porous material and located in a pipe passage connecting to the heat receiving part on an accumulator side, and a heat receiving surface, onto which the same kind of porous material is placed, are provided and both the porous materials are connected with the same kind of porous material. CONSTITUTION:The supply of working fluid 6 is performed when the pressure dfference is generated between a heat receiving part 1 and an accumulator 5 as the result of the complete evaporation of the liquid 6A in the heat receiving part 1. The supply of the liquid 6A from the accumulator 5 is started not by the direct arrival of the liquid 6A to the heat receiving part 1 but by the temporary storage of the liquid 6A in the porous material 12 in a liquid reservoir 11 and performed by the reflux of the liquid 6A to the heat receiving surface 13 through the porous material 15 and 14. At this time, because the liquid 6A flows through the porous material, the speed of flow of the liquid 6A entering the heat receiving part 1 is slower than that entering the liquid reservoir 11 through a pipe passage 30, resulting in allowing for the certain fixed amount of the liquid 6A to accumulate in the liquid reservoir for the period of time required for the liquid 6A to reach the heat receiving surface 13. Consequently, because the accumulated liquid 6A can effectively be supplied to the whole heat receiving surface 13 by means of capillary action even after the flow of the liquid 6A from the accumulator 5 to the heat receiving part 1 is stopped, resulting in increasing the amount of heat transfer. |
