PURPOSE:To prevent easily skew distortion generated at reproduction by arranging two video heads with an identical azimuth angle while shifting either mounting angle from a just 180 deg. mounting angular position. CONSTITUTION:A video signal fed to an input terminal 24 is fed to two rotary video heads 2, 3 after a prescribed signal processing and recorded on a track of a magnetic tape 1 at each field. The mounting angle of the two video heads 2, 3 is shifted by theta deg. from the mounting angular position of just 180 deg.. The arrangement of the two heads is shifted from 180 deg. in this way, then the horizontal synchronism period is not 0.5H at the switching part from the head 2 to the head 3 or from the head 3 to the head 2 in tracking the track of one field's share recorded intermittently and no skew distortion is generated. |
