A fluid pressure loaded piston controls a valve and determines the pressure downstream of said valve. The piston 38 is inside and connected to the casing 36 which has a valve member 39 closing the opening 40 in the conduit 41. Pressure downstream of valve 39 passes to the top of piston 38 via port 42 and bore 43, and a datum pressure loading is supplied via bore 44 to the underside of piston 38 (determined by restriction 48 and relief valve 49) when change-over piston valve 50 (servoed by a solenoid-actuated valve 53) is in its " down " position. |
