摘要 |
PURPOSE:To improve capacity recovery performance in a lead-acid battery stored for a long time by using a grid manufactured by forming a mixed thermal spray layer of tin and tin oxide on the surface of lead-calcium alloy sheet and applying heat treatment to it and punching it. CONSTITUTION:Plasma gas 2 and pure tin particles 5 are supplied between electrodes 1. Tin carrier gas prepared by melting thin with plasma is injected on the surface of a sheet 8 comprising 0.05% calcium and balance pure lead to form a thermal spray layer 7 of tin and tin oxide on the surface of the sheet. This sheet is heated at 240-320 deg.C, and punched to manufacture a grid for a positive plate of lead-acid battery. Since tin which has a good effect on charge-discharge performance exists on the surface of the grid and is strongly bonded by heat treatment, capacity recovery performance is improved. |
