PURPOSE:To cool a heating unit and prevent freeze of a pressure reduction regulator attached to a carbon dioxide bomb by leading heat generated in the heating unit such as a main circuit semiconductor etc. to the passage of liquefied carbon dioxide gas by a heat pipe to make heat exchange possible. CONSTITUTION:The machine is a carbon dioxide gas arc welding machine consisting of a heat pipe 22, a guide pipe 8 to which the heat radiating part of the pipe 22 is closely fixed and an end of which is attached to the discharge port of a liquefied carbon dioxide gas bomb 7, a heater 9 attached to it and a thermoswitch 10 which is attached to the guide pipe 8 and makes the pipe open when temperature of carbon dioxide gas becomes above specified value, and shields the weld zone with carbon dioxide gas. The endothermic part of above-mentioned pipe 22 is fixed closely to the heating unit such as a main circuit semiconductor 4 or a main transformer 5 or a DC reactor 6 etc. Above-mentioned heating unit is cooled efficiently by this welding machine, and freeze of the carbon dioxide gas pressure reduction regulator is prevented. |
