PURPOSE:To easily perform the tapping work of a molten metal to a casting chamber with high efficiency, in recovering a molten metal in a state cast in a casting mold by once solidifying objective metal vapor in a solidification chamber before melting under heating, by communicating a metal melting chamber and the casting chamber by a conduit having an opening and closing valve. CONSTITUTION:The metal evaporated in a metal evaporation apparatus 20 is introduced into the hermetically closed space 3 of a vacuum solidification container 1 through a conduit 19. Herein, because metal vapor is solidified and adhered to a side wall 9 upon cooling, a heater 35 is operated to heat the solidified one to accumulate the same to the bottom of a container 1 as a molten metal 27. Next, a valve 30 is opened while a vacuum pump 32 is operated to evacuate a casting chamber 24 so as to make the pressure therein same to the vacuum pressure in the vacuum hermetically closed space 3 and, thereafter, the valve 16 of a conduit 17 is opened to cast the molten metal 27 in the casting mold within the casting chamber 24. At this time, only by opening the valve 37 provided to the conduit 38 for communicating the hermetically closed space 3 and the casting chamber 24, pressures of both chambers are made uniform and the gushing out of the molten metal 27 by pressure difference is prevented and the molten metal 27 is safely and surely cast in the casting mold 28 at high yield.
