PURPOSE:To enable a better quality of printing eliminating uneven density of ink by moving a driving lever to the right or left to turn a ratchet both in the outgoing and incoming cources thereof through first and second feed pawls. CONSTITUTION:A driving lever 34 is pivoted on a frame 13 in such a manner as to oscillate to the right or the left and engaged with the frame 13 through a return spring 16. When the carriage 2 moves in the direction of the arrow A, a ratchet 5 is turned in the direction of the arrow B. Then, as the carriage 2 starts to move in the direction of the arrow A', the driving lever 34 connected to the frame 13 with the return spring 16, starts to move in the direction of the arrow A' by the force of the return spring 16 with the movement of the carriage 2. The ratchet 5 is turned in the direction of the arrow B by moving the driving lever 34 in the direction of the arrow A'. Thus, a better quality of printing can be obtained eliminating uneven ink density horizontally. |
