PURPOSE:To permit the effective operation of a heat pump type hot water supplier using effectively the solar radiant heat by a method in which a compressor is driven automatically at the daybreak and also stopped after the lapse of a given period of time at the nightfall by a controller. CONSTITUTION:A heat collector 3 set outdoors, a compressor 1 connected to the heat collector 3, a heat storage tank 5 connected to the compressor 1, and a controller A to automatically drive the compressor 1 at the daybreak and also to stop the compressor 1 after the lapse of a given period of time at the nightfall are provided. Since the hot water supplier can be continuously operated for a given period of time even after the nightfall, a necessary amount of hot water can be economically obtained even in the winter season or cold areas where the temperature of the open air is low. If the time to allow the continuous operation of the hot water supplier is set up optionally in such a way as to meet the atmospheric temperatures, necessary heating temperatures of water can be obtained. |
