PURPOSE:To form clearly an electrostatic latent image except an original image, on a photosensitive body, and to make the titled copying machine function sufficiently as a copying machine, too, by providing a means for forming an electrostatic latent image except an original image on a photosensitive body, and providing a means for preventing the original image from being projected and forming an image, on its part. CONSTITUTION:A holder 44 for holding an LED array 15 is installed onto a short focus lens train 14 so as to stride over it. The holder 44 is in the upper part of a part in which an electrostatic latent image ''Sanyo'' except an original image is formed, on a photosensitive body, therefore, an original image ''CD'' of its part is not projected nor made to form an image an a photosensitive drum 13. Accordingly, ''AB'' being the original image and the image ''Sanyo'' except the original image, formed by the LED array 15 are formed as an electrostatic latent image.
