PLANE SCANNING TYPE COPYING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To decrease the min. diameter of the spot recorded on recording paper and to eliminate unevenness in the size of the spot diameter by permeating a liquid which has a refractive index larger than 1.0 and allows transmission of the used beam through a beam transmission plate then forming and recording the condensed spot on the recording paper. CONSTITUTION:Recording paper 6 is installed in a vessel 18 and a beam transmission plate 11 having the refractive index larger than 1.0 is adhered to said vessel in the direction where a beam is condensed. A liquid 19 which allows the transmission of the beam and has no chemical effect with the paper 6 is contained in the vessel 18. A condensed beam 14 past a synchronous scanning lens (ftheta lens) 5 is thus corrected of aberration by the plate 11 and the liquid 10 and is made into a geometrically small spot which can be recorded onto the paper 6; moreover, the min. beam diameter is decreased as well and the beam can be recorded as a small spot even with a plane scanning type copying device having a long scanning length. Since the paper 6 exists in the liquid 19, the flaw on the paper 6 that may occur in friction with the plate 11 as a result of scanning is obviated.
