PURPOSE:To prevent a stamp surface from being damaged, by a construction wherein an outer cylinder and an inner rod are slid relatively to each other to stretch or contract a spring in the condition in which a transverse shaft and a long groove hole provided respectively in the outer cylinder and the inner rod are engaged with each other. CONSTITUTION:The transverse shaft 6 with both ends supported by a side wall of the outer cylinder 1 is passed through the long groove holes 2a provided at both side openings of an internal space of the inner rod 2. A tension spring 7 having hook parts at both ends thereof is hooked on the shaft 6 at the upper end thereof and to a transverse pin 9 at the lower end thereof. Starting from a gripped position, a combined cover and ink pad 4 is rotated while holding a head part 3 to disengage a hooked cut 3 and a projection of the pin 9 from each other, whereby it is enabled to stamp directly. Namely, when the head part 3 is held, the lower end of the spring 7' is stretched by the pin 9 of the inner rod 2, since the upper end of the spring 7' is engaged with the transverse shaft 6 of the outer cylinder 1. In the sliding ranges of the long grooves holes 2a and groove holes 1a, both the inner rod 2 and a stamp member 5 are lowered, and are engaged by the hooked cut 4a in the combined cover and ink pad 4 and the projection of the transverse pin 9. When the engagement is released by rotating, the stamp member 5 is retracted by the recoil strength of the spring 7', naturally resulting in a condition wherein the stamp member 5 is protected. |
