PURPOSE:To provide the titled device which enables forced and free V-block working of high precision by a constitution wherein a roller of a magnetic body fixed to a rotary supporting body for a spectacle lens to be attracted to a magnetized profile plate and the profile plate is constituted freely detachably from the roller. CONSTITUTION:In a profile working device for executing V-block processing to the peripheral part of a spectacle lens 4 with a grind stone 2 revolvable at high speed which is provided with grooves 3, spectacle lens 4 to be worked is fixed to a rotary shaft 8 with a chuck, and a roller 5 comprising a magnetic body is fixed to a rotary shaft 8. On one hand, a profile plate 6 fixed inclinedly movably to a base body 7 through a supporting plate 11 is formed of a magnetized magnetic material. By this constitution, the roller 5 is strongly attracted to the profile plate 6, and a forced V-block working of high precision is executed profiling a curved surface A. Further, the base plate 7 is shifted to rightward by handling a knob 17 and a profile plate 6 is constituted to be detachable from the roller 5. Thus, free V-block work is possible, in accordance with demand.
