An arrangement of a closure cap (4) on electrical tubular-shell heating elements (1) between the tubular shell and the connecting bolt (2) for filling and sealing the insulation compound (3), the connecting bolt (2) being guided through a central opening (5) in the cylindrical closure cap (4), and the inner wall of the opening (5) of the closure cap (4) resting thereon in a groove-shaped depression (6) in the connecting bolt (2), and the cylindrical outer surface of the closure cap (4) resting on the inner wall of the tubular shell (1). The closure cap (4) is constructed in such a manner that it engages by means of a wedge-shaped, cylindrical part (7) between the inner wall and the connecting bolt (2), and the wedge-shaped, cylindrical part (7) rests in the form of points on the inner wall of the tubular shell (1), forming cavities (10) in such a manner that a light seating of the closure cap (4) is provided even after sealing of the insulation compound (3) (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
