PURPOSE:To automatically cut off foreign matters from a band-shaped rubber stock without stopping the carrying work of the band-shaped rubber stock by a structure wherein a cutter and scrapers, all of which shift in the carrying direction of the band-shaped rubber stock together with the band-shaped rubber stock, are provided so as to be suitably operated. CONSTITUTION:When the mixing of foreign matters such as metal pieces and the like in a band-shaped rubber stock 1 carried by a carrying conveyer 2 is detected by means of a detecting means 4, the actuation of an elevating cylinder 10 is started after the elapse of a certain fixed period of time through a timer so as to lower the cutter device 6 of a foreign mater removing means 8 and a kick-out device 7 equipped with scrapers 19 and the like onto the rubber stock 1 under the state being carried. Next, the portion, in which foreign matters are mixed, of the rubber stock 1 is cut off by means of the cutter device 6. After the elapses of a certain fixed period of time, the scrapers 19 and a kick-out bar of the kick-out device 7 is shifted along a frame 9 in order to remove the cut-off rubber stock 1 from the carrying conveyer 2 by means of the scrapers 19 and the kick-out bar. |
