PURPOSE:To record and collect the trace data easily and freely by starting directly a prescribed trace based on the start of a sequence when said sequence is started at an execution level of a microprogram of a high hierarchy. CONSTITUTION:A microprogram address trace memory 8 is provided to record suscessively the addresses of microinstruction words executed actually in the same way as their execution. The memory 8 applies a cyclic and endless constitution. In other words, when data are stored up to a highest address, the next store place is set again to the lowest address. Then the data stored previously are continuously updated with new data until a trace stop indication is delivered. Thus it is possible through control to record and collect the program parts to be analyzed to the memory 8 having the limited capacity.
