A passive seatbelt system comprised of an adjustable attachment device (10), a guide rail (13) for the adjustable attachment device, a power transmission device (16) for adjusting the attachment device, and reversible motor device (17, 18) for operating the power transfer device for adjustment of the attachment device front and back between two end positions (13A, 13B) on the guide rail. A locking device for a belt (11) in a safety harness in such a system includes a lock station (15) with a movable catch, designed to grip the movable attachment device (10). The catch is equipped with a notch-shaped part at each end and designed to intervene as well as with the attachment device (10) as a fixed part in the locking station (15), so that the attachment device is kept in the locking station. The catch is loosely arranged in the lock station and movable in the lock station together with the attachment device. Through this there is no need for the device to have a special pin for the catch, whereby manufacturing and mounting of the lock station is simplified. The attachment device (10) is connected to the power transmission device (16) by a special slider (21) which is guidable and loosely connected with the attachment device. Through this movement of the attachment device through the bowed parts of the guide rail (13) and the attachment device in the catch in the locked position is simplified.<IMAGE> |
