PURPOSE:To improve the impact resistance, paintability, printability, etc., of a polyolefin resin, by mixing this resin with a vinyl acetate/ethylene copolymer of specified properties, a specified polystyrene resin and a specified styrene/butadiene copolymer. CONSTITUTION:The purpose resin composition is prepared by mixing 100pts.wt. polyolefin resin (A) (e.g., polypropylene) with 0.2-20pts.wt. amorphous vinyl acetate/ethylene copolymer (B) having a vinyl acetate content of 40-90wt% and a Mooney viscosity >=4, 0.3-30pts.wt. polystyrene resin (C) having a styrene content >=70wt% (e.g., styrene/acrylonitrile copolymer) and 0.2-20pts.wt. thermoplastic styrene/butadiene copolymer having a styrene content of 10-60wt% so that the weight ratio of (B+D)/C may be 85/15-15/85 and the weight ratio of A/(B+C+D) may be 100/1-40. |
