摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To raise separation ratio of H2, by purifying a raw material gas comprising H2 and excess N2 as main components by two stages of a replacing and adsorbing process and N2 adsorbing process. CONSTITUTION:A raw material gas comprising H2 and N2 in an amount more than a stoichiometric ratio in ammonia synthesis reaction based on H2 as main components, containing a small amount of CO2, CO, methane, Ar, steam, and methanol vapor is introduced from the line 21 into the adsorbing bed 1b saturated with N2, and steam or methanol vapor, CO2, and CO are completely adsorbed and removed. Most of methane and a considerable amount of Ar are adsorbed and removed. Part of a gas containing H2 and N2 which are not adsorbed is introduced through the line 23 into the succeeding adsorbing bed 1a, and N2 in the gas is adsorbed and separated. When the adsorbing bed 1a is saturated with N2, flow of the raw material gas from the line 21 is converted into a replacing and adsorbing process of the adsorbing bed 1a, and the adsorbing bed 1b is converted into a desorbing process of N2.</p>
