PURPOSE:To lower the temperature of an exhaust gas by providing a cooling liquid tank having a cooling plate with fins around the outer periphery of a flue in a kerosene boiler or the like. CONSTITUTION:The main body 4 of the exhaust cylinder top is provided at the entire part of the flue provided upright on the upper wall of the combustion chamber 2. An exhaust gas flow control plate 5 is provided at the upper end of the flue 3, and a sound insulating material 6 is provided around the outer periphery of the flue 3. An annular cooling liquid tank 8 accommodating therein an antifreezing fluid for cooling is mounted around the upper outer periphery of the flue 3, and a cooling cylinder 9 with fins 10 is provided over substantially the entire height of the flue 3 by externally fitting the same in the cooling liquid tank 8. The upper inner surface of the cooling liquid tank 8 is formed in a reverse conical shape, and the area of the tank 8 in contact with the cooling cylinder 9 with fins is enlarged. As a result, high-temperarure heat in the flue is absorbed by the cooling liquid tank 8. The heat is transferred to the cooling cylinder 9 with fins by natural convection, and comes into contact with the suction air at the outer periphery of the cylinder 9 and dissipated. Thereby, the exhaust gas of the flue 3 is cooled, and is lowered to a surficiently low temperature. |
