<p>Mechanism for moving the extremities of a doll in such a way that the movements of the arm and leg on one side of the doll are out of phase with each other and alternate with the movements of the arm and leg on the other side, includes a rigid box (1) containing in its rear portion a battery holder (1a) and in its central portion a motor reduction unit (2) in the form of a micromotor coupled to a gear train, the output shaft of which projects from both sides of the unit and is provided at its ends with a pair of circular cams (3) which are diametrically offset from each other and fit in circular apertures which are longitudinally offset from the centres of two connecting rods (4). The longer arm of each connecting rod is pivotally connected to a lever (5) which has a rod-like extension (6) provided with a stepped outer end (6a) which is a press fit in a housing provided in one of the arms of the doll, and the short arm of each connecting rod is pivotally and slidably mounted at its outer end in a slot formed in a further lever (8). Each lever (8) has a rod-like extension (9) provided with a stepped frustoconical outer end (9a) which is a press fit in a housing in the upper end of the legs of the doll. <IMAGE></p> |
