PURPOSE:To contrive to facilitate the fitting work, maintenance and inspection of a device and at the same time to improve the external appearance and to lower the noise by a method wherein a plurality of heat exchange units are arranged in a plurality of rooms in regard to a single blower unit. CONSTITUTION:A blower unit 1 and a plurality of heat exchange units, in the interior of each of which a heat exchange element is arranged, are provided so that a plurality of rooms are constituted to be simultaneously heat-exchanged and ventilated by connecting the blower unit 1 with the respective heat exchange units 14 and 23 by means of ducts 33 and 35. The main body of the blower unit 1 is arranged on the outdoor wall surface. A delivery and discharge box 9 is arranged within the wall. A collecting box 10 is arranged on the indoor wall surface. The heat exchange units 14 and 23 are detachably connected to the collecting box 10 of the blower unit by means of duct fitting plates 32 and 34 and the ducts so as to be able to freely disassemble the heat exchange units 14 and 23 through ceiling openings from indoor side. Consequently, the fitting work, exchange of appliances, maintenance and inspection are facilitated and at the same time the dimensions of the ceiling openings are made smaller, resulting in enabling to improve the external appearance of the indoor ceiling surface and to lower the noise in a room.
