In a device for displaceably and rotatably mounting a roller on a shaft, the roller (10) includes a plastic sleeve (11) having at its ends circular axial recesses (14, 15). The roller is rotatably mounted on a journalling sleeve (12) similarly made from plastics and displaceably arranged on a shaft (21). The journalling sleeve is implemented with an annular flange (18) coacting with the annular recess (14) at one end of the plastic sleeve. The journalling sleeve has a tongue (19) resiliently engaging with a flat surface (20) on the shaft (21) while simultaneously displacing an abutment portion (19a) on the tongue (19) to a position where the abutment portion coacts with the recess (15) situated at the other end of the plastic sleeve (11). |
