PURPOSE:To provide a heat treating device which reduces equipment cost and cools uniformly a material to be heated with the simple constitution in which a communicating state is changed by operating change-over dampers and the inversion of the flowing direction of the cooling gas in the treating chamber is made possible. CONSTITUTION:The inside of a vessel 1 is evacuated to about 0.05Torr and after a material 5 to be heated is electrically heated 10 to a prescribed temp., gaseous N2 for cooling is supplied into the vessel 1 and is pressurized to 5-7kg/cm<2>. A circulation fan 6 and a gas cooler 7 are started. One change-over damper 15a closes a communicating port 17a to communicate a circulating duct 14a and a blow-off duct 9. The other change-over damper 15b closes a communicating port 18b to communicate a circulating duct 14b and the suction side of a cooler 4 thereby circulating gaseous N2 in an arrow direction and cooling the material 5. The circulation is made for specified time and thereafter the dampers 15a, 15b are operated by the actuation of cylinders 20a, 20b by which the communicating state thereof is changed over. The flow of the gaseous N2 is thus inverted and the material 5 is cooled. This inversion is repeated several times according to need. |
