PURPOSE:To avoid a complicated structure as well as the space increase for a computer input device by providing a key input operation part and a coorinate input operation part in a body on an operation board and converting the output of the coordinate input operation part into another equivalent output to secure the common use of the output lines of both operation parts. CONSTITUTION:A key input operation part 2 having a cursor control key (not shown in the figure) and a coordinate input operation part 3 which shifts a mouse 31 along a coordinate plane 30 are provided in a body on an operation board 10. The outputs of both parts 2 and 3 are converted into another equivalent output via converting circuit 4 and 5 respectively and then sent to a host computer 7 via a common output line 6. Thus the common use is possible for the line 6 and an interface (not shown in the figure).
