PURPOSE:To execute communication and control efficiently by using the common address area when a computer communicates with neighboring computers and by allowing data writing simultaneously in both local memory and communication memory. CONSTITUTION:A control unit 2 is a microcomputer, controls a processing unit PU array 1, and executes data communication between a host computer 3 and input/output devices 7-10. In the PU array, a local memory LM20 stores local data of the PU and the program. Communication memory devices CM 23-26 are shared between arounding PUs which are adjacent to each other, and the memory devices are used for data communication between PUs. When an MPU 16 stores data in an LM20, it specifies the special address, and writes the address in the CMs 23-26 simultaneously when the data are the data which shall be transferred to the adjacent PU. |
