PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition for use in application to, e.g. walls, by mixing asbestos with the liquor beforehand followed by incorporating powder granules in the resulting system to perform kneading to prevent hazardous asbestos dust from scattering around. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition in the form of suspension or paste can be obtained by mixing, in advance, asbestos with the liquor (e.g. water, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer emulsion) to be used in the kneading operation follwed by incorporating powdery granules in the resulting system to perform the kneading. Even if this composition is incorporated in mortar, e.g. at construction works site, no scattering of asbestos dust will occur in the kneading operation.
