PURPOSE:To reduce a flame diminishing sound when a main combustion is started by a method wherein one nozzle is provided with both functions of a pilot combustion and a main combustion. CONSTITUTION:When a main combustion is performed from a pilot combustion within a combustion chamber for heating either liquid or air only with one nozzle 5, only an amount of gas controlled by the orifice 30 is flowed if the first solenoid valve 22 is opened, a temperature in the combustion chamber is sufficiently increased by the combustion heat to make a stable pilot flame itself, thereafter the second solenoid valve 29 is opened and a main combustion is positively and smoothly performed under a sufficient high temperature of atmosphere with the pilot flame acting as a sufficiently wide area of ignition. With this arrangement, it is made possible to reduce the ignition sound when the main combustion is started with a simple manner. |
