The invention relates: on the one hand to a food product of the type consisting of a sauce filling on a pastry base, characterised in that the filling comprises a sauce thickened with onions, butter, ratatouille, white meat of scallops, cooked prawns, tomatoes, lemon juice, grated gruyère cheese, garlic, fennel, basil, nutmeg, egg yolks, castor sugar, salt and pepper, dry white wine, and in that the pastry comprises the incorporation of gruyère cheese and ground aniseed; and on the other hand to a method for the preparation of the said product characterised in that the pastry is given a thorough kneading and then left to rest for two hours in the refrigerator.
