The pref. modular building sections have floors, roofs, walls and internal partitions. The sections are connected together by a linkage with pulleys, guides, rails, stops and locks to aid deployment. The sections can be stored flat in a container, for deployment, the linkage is extended to form immediately usable frames, by exerting a traction force via a winch assembly from the exterior, or an internal ram. - The linkage can be aided in its extension by mounting it on a railway which has supports. The railway supports can be adjusted for height.
