PURPOSE:To lock a shutter securely when the shutter is not used by providing a pushbutton which moves together with the claw installed at the case of a cartridge on the mounting side, by pressing down the pushbutton by passing of the pin for opening the shutter, and releasing the lock mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A pushbutton 16 is installed at a guide groove 12 so that a claw 15 will be pressed down by using that a shutter releasing pin 11 which is installed at a magnetic recorder/reproducer moves along the guide groove 12. When a cartridge 1 is inserted to the magnetic recorder/reproducer, the claw 15 is pressed down in (y) direction by interlocking pressing-down of the pushbotton 16 of the shutter releasing pin 11, the lock of a shutter 2' is released, and the shutter 2' is opened when the cartridge 1 is continued to insert. When the cartridge 1 is taken out from the magnetic recorder/reproducer, the shutter 2' is slided in the closing direction by a return spring 8, the claw 15 enters a lock hole 14, and the shutter 2' is locked. Then, the shutter is not opened easily.
