PURPOSE:To control a none-image area and an effective image area accurately by providing the 2nd microshutter for erasure at a part of a liquid-crystal shutter which performs optical writing, and erasing the none-image area. CONSTITUTION:A liquid-crystal panel 69 is provided with the 1st microshutter part 72 for optical writing and the 2nd microshutter parts 73 and 74 for controlling the none-image area. When blank parts at the left and right sides of an image are neutralized, a video signal timing control part forms recording data to which a one-bit none-image area control signal at the head part and tail part of an image signal corresponding to one line to facilitate the erasure. Consequently, an erasing lamp is not necessary and the none-image area and effective image area are controlled accurately. |
