PURPOSE:To simplify the construction of an air-supplying/discharging-type car height adjusting equipment by having supply or discharge of air to an air chamber caused by a car height sensing valve. CONSTITUTION:A car height sensing valve 11, which is provided in the inner chamber 12 of a piston rod, consists of a spool 13, a poppet valve 14, and a poppet valve operation control rod 15. When a piston rod 2 goes down within a cylinder 1, the control rod 15 also goes down, corresponding to the contraction degree of control springs 21 and 23, within a range of fall of the piston rod 2 in order to open the poppet valve 14. When the piston rod goes up, on the other hand, the control rod 15 also goes up, while its projection abuts on the spool 13, thereby releasing a circular groove 16b. With this, air outside the equipment is supplied to or discharged from an air chamber 20, thereby creating extension/ contraction of the car height adjusting equipment. Thus, construction of the equipment can be simplified. |
