摘要 |
NEW MATERIAL:A microorganism prepared by integrating a chromosome fragment (chromosome DNA) participating in the production of L-proline and separated from a microorganism belonging to Serratia genus capable of producing L- proline, and introducing the obtained hybrid plasmid into a microorganism belonging to Serratia genus. USE:Microorganism for the fermentative production of L-proline which is an amino acid useful as a drug and feed additive. PREPARATION:A hybrid plasmid is prepared from (A) a chromosome DNA collected from a microorganism belonging to Serratia genus and capable of producing L-proline [preferably Serratia marcescens DTr-12 (FERM-BP No.171), etc. deficient in L-prolinase and resistant to proline-analogue and/or purine-analogue] and (B) a vector plasmid DNA. The plasmid is introduced into a transformable microorganism belonging to Serratia genus. |
