PURPOSE:To provide titled composition capable of giving highly expanded articles of high strength and good surface appearance with uniform cell structure, comprising a vinyl chloride-dominant copolymer having either hydroxyl or carboxyl group, thermoplastic polyurethane, acrylic resin, foaming agent and plasticizer. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprising (A) 100pts.wt. of either (i) vinyl chloride-dominant copolymer having either hydroxyl or carboxyl group or (ii) a mixture of the same and another vinyl chloride-dominant copolymer having neither hydroxyl nor carboxyl group, (B) 3-40(pref. 5-20)pts.wt. of thermoplastic polyurethane, (C) 0.5-30(pref. 2-20)pts.wt. of acrylic resin, (D) heat- decomposable foaming agent and (E) plasticizer. The component (A) in made up of 5-100(pref. 8-70)pts.wt. of the component (i) and 0-95(pref. 92-30)pts.wt. of the component (ii). |
