Single or multiple thermal overcurrent relay

The relay has two separate adjusting devices (30) to set the amount play in the height of the release slides (14,16) moved by one or more bimetal release strips acting in concert. The adjusting devices are cylindrical pins with eccentric middle sections (32). The pins lie in recesses (24,26) in the casing and are accessible from the outside. A conical shape is imparted to the contour of rotation of each pin by radial projections in the region where the pin lies in the recess just beyond the eccentric portion. The adjustment tool engages with a recess (40) (e.g. a cross slot) in the head of each pin in the recess in the casing. The recess for the tool may take other forms.
