PURPOSE:To decrease the occupied area in case of circuit integration by decreasing the manual wiring between the 1st and 2nd signal transmission circuits. CONSTITUTION:A bit shift circuit has a register 100 storing the shift amount of input data and is provided with input lines 101-104 of inoput data, the 1st signal transmission circuit 140 comprising lines (shift amount selection lines) 121, 122 inputting a part of the output signal of the register 100 and N lines of differnt output lines 101'-104', and also the 2nd signal transmission circuit 150 comprising similarly data output lines 111-114. Since a couple of shift amount selection lines 121, 122 only are connected to the 1st signal transmission circuit 140 and only the shift amount selection lines 123, 124 are connected similarly to the 2nd signal transmission circuit 150, the number of lateral wirings three each and the 4-bit shifter is formed by the total 10 lateral wirings only in Fig. |
